To whom it may concern,
I am a U.S. citizen who, like everyone around me was horrified at the tragedy of September 11th. I am also a lesbian and am very outraged to know that
partners of gay and lesbian victims of the terrorist attack are not receiving equal compensation as heterosexual partners, families and loved ones. What is this saying
about the so-called unity we're all calling for to turn this into yet another opportunity to discriminate against an already oppressed minority group. I am horrified and
appalled. This action is done without support of many and I hope you hear all of their voices on it.
