Victim compensation
9-11 was a devastating tragedy. It happened because of hatred and discrimination. But everyday, gays and lesbians are victims of the same venom. It is high time our governmental representatives, who, according to our Constitution, should be working for the people and not only the heterosexual people, step up to the plate and end this discrimination. Through inaction, our government condones such discrimination.
Those who were effected at as result of 9-11 do not deserve further disrespect and punishment at the hand of our government. WE ARE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES! Treat us as such! Allow gay and lesbian survivors to benefit from the 9-11 Fund.
