beyond pathetic
I can't say that I'm outraged over the deliberate exclusion of compensation for the survivors of gay & lesbian victims of September 11th. I wish I could be, unfortunately it's something that should just be expected. My community has been the one segment of society that has pretty much been sanctioned by the government as the one 'ok to hate'. All I can say it's lucky for the parents, family members, husbands, wives, fiancés, etc.. of all the 'normal people' killed that day that there's just enough compassion to be rationed out to them. Even the recounting of the plane that crashed in PA now predominantly glorifies one man, straight-married-father, the tall strong gay guy....what was his name? oh right,      , whom we know took part in stopping the plane from reaching it's target, has all but faded into history. I guess we'll just have to be ready the next time there's an attack against our country and think first and foremost about taking care of our own, since we're really not all created equal in the eyes of the government. God bless America, for some.
