OUTRAGED
I am outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those
who died on September 11 are not automatically going to
receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses!
This is a DIRECT discrimination in a national tragic situation where the WORLD is watching how the strongest nation in the world is treating its citizens!
Are we REALLY saying that homosexuals are "less important", not a member of the mainstream American population that enjoys benefits when they lose a spouse or significant other? This is blatant discrimination, PERIOD! The Bush administration and "its" government needs to WAKE UP, step up to the plate and for ONCE promote JUSTICE for ALL Americans!
