compensation for gays and lesbians
I am outraged that domestic partners of the gay heroes that died on
9/11 will probably get no financial aid. It is a disgrace and
disgusting to say that you are merely obeying state laws when you are
overlooking federal laws by giving money to and not punishing illegal
aliens and the companies that hired them. So it's ok to disregard
federal law when it comes to people that aren't even citizens but not
ok to supercede state laws that discriminate against gay couples that
would like to spend their lives together? I am ashamed of this
treatment of gay people. Where did all our patriotism go?
