Equality Now for Gay & Lesbian victims & heroes of 9-11

Shame on you for not fully including the partners and family members of gay and lesbian people who died in the 9-11 atrocities. This is type of bigotry, especially in this tragedy, is completely un-American. How can you even think it is okay to be so discriminatory as a form of public and economic policy. I hope you folks will at least heed the recent words of Billy Graham:

...As I reflect back, I realize that much of my life has been a pilgrimage -- constantly learning, changing, growing and maturing. I have come to see in deeper ways some of the implications of my faith and message, not the least of which is in the area of human rights and racial and ethnic understanding.

Racial prejudice, anti-Semitism, or hatred of anyone with different beliefs has no place in the human mind or heart.

It's not fair to be UNFAIR and treat human beings that way. It is time to change. But of course, that requires COURAGE and LEADERSHIP. As the adage goes: Managers do things the right way, leaders do the right thing. Which are you?
