Hero's
Dear whomever is in charge -
America has been brutalized. America is in need of heroes. America is in
need of time to heal.
The decision NOT to extend survivor benefits to the gay & lesbian partners
(people for whom marriage is not an option) is an act as heinous as if you
were flying those planes on 9/11 yourself. How dare you use this time to
further hurt American's and the American spirit. So many people of so many
different backrounds have given their lives in service to this country - and
yet you choose to ignore those contributions and foster hatred and spite.
I am proud to be an American, and I hope that you are proud as well. Show
that pride by showing America stands united with ALL OF IT'S PEOPLE. Not
just those you agree with.
