To The September 11 Victim Compensation Fund
I am outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those who died
on September 11 are not automatically going to receive the same
benefits as heterosexual spouses.
This discrimination is un-American. And bigotry.
You are making sure that fetuses and illegal aliens will be receiving
benefits, you even promised to overlook federal law and not arrest
and/or kick out the families of illegal aliens, nor will you punish
American companies that hired illegals in violation of federal labor
laws.
It is time to recognize that ALL people, no matter their color, religion,
ethnic back ground or sexual preference, are equal and should be treated
with love and respect. The same Higher Power, by any name you call it,
created all of us.
Please reconsider your erroneous decision.
