I am saddened by the discrimination being shown to surviving partners of gay and lesbian victims of 9/11. People, who like everyone else left that morning for work to earn money to support their families, pay taxes to support our nation, fully expecting to come home that evening. I donated money to the funds. I joined millions of other Americans in prayer and rallies. You accepted my money but refuse to share it with people who like me are gay. People who are in this country illegally and the unborn have more rights than people who were actively contributing to our nation. Again, I am deeply saddened by your ignorance and attitudes. Please do the right thing by all Americans. Take care of everyone. We are all victims of that horrible day. Everyone was touched by the actions of the terrorists. Everyone deserves to be treated equally and fairly. When will discrimination end? You must start here. You must.
