UN-AMERICAN ACTIVITIES

I am outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those who died on September 11 are not automatically going to receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses as a part of the Victims Compensation Fund created by Congress.

As a 72 year old woman, there has been discrimination in my life since childhood.

First, I was taught that the Native Americans were bad people. Next, it was the Japanese so, let's not buy their products. Then the Puerto Ricans were depicted as low class animals.

Now, we get to the black-skinned people.
They surely were at the bottom of the totem pole.

SO THE MESSAGE IS THIS::: WHO SHALL WE FIND TO PICK ON NEXT? OBVIOUSLY A GROUP THAT CANNOT OPENLY FIGHT FOR THEIR RIGHTS.

Now, there is discrimination regarding Gay people who died on Sept. 11, 2002.

Their families must be compensated on an equal basis as other grieving families by receiving the same amount of money.

WHEN THERE IS A WAR....WILL WE KEEP OUT THE GAYS, BLACKS, ORIENTALS, LATINOS & JAPANESE?
OR WILL THESE PEOPLE BE NEEDED FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY.

LET OUR CONSCIENCE BE OUR GUIDE.
