9/11 fund unfair to gays and lesbians
The September 11 Victim Compensation Fund discriminates against gays and is un-American. I’m outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those who died on September 11 are not automatically going to receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses. This should not stand! No matter what state laws allow, gay and lesbian partners should receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses and partners.
