excluding gays and lesbians from 9/11victims compensation
Kenneth L. Zwick, Director
Office of Management Programs
Civil Division
U.S. Department of Justice
Dear Sir:
Excluding gays and lesbians from compensation for lost loved ones during the
9/11 tragedy is unfair, heartless, exclusionary and senseless.
Statistics say tens of millions in America are gay or lesbian.
We are not going to disappear and we are entitled to the same treatment as
any citizen, any fetus and certainly any illegal alien, and should be
afforded the same financial compensation for our losses from 9/11 without a
federal law compelling people like you from doing the right thing.
There is a gay presence on the Internet that you will soon learn more about,
and if you value your job, you need to relent on your Neanderthal, homophobic
stance and do the right thing.
Kenneth Zwick is your name, and unless you want it on the lips of every
outraged gay and lesbian in America, do your job and do the right thing.
This is a disgrace for which you should feel outright shame.
