I am greatly disturbed that gay and lesbian partners of those
who died on September 11 are not automatically going to
receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses. This is clearly
an injustice to those gay heroes of the day.
It is my understanding that even illegal aliens will be receiving
benefits and furthermore I understand that federal law is being
overlooked and not only won't the illegal aliens be arrested
but will receive benefits. And futhermore I understand that
American companies that have hired illegal aliens will not be
punished for violation of fdderal labor laws.
I am aware that who helped bring down the flight
in Pennsylvania, NY Fire Department
who died in the line of duty when the first tower fell and
who of the plane that crashed into the Pentagon-all gay heroes
of the day and many more will all be treated differently and that the law
is the law and no exceptions can be made.
All gay heroes should receive the same benefits as the families of
heterosexual
victims with no expcetions
