Compensation for only some?
I was outraged to read that gay and lesbian partners of those who died
on September 11 are not automatically going to receive the same benefits as
heterosexual spouses.
It seems the government has no problem accepting tax money from
homosexuals or having homosexuals lay down their lives in defense of this
country. The problem begins when a homosexual dares to expect the same
rights accorded any other US citizen. "...and justice for all." Hmm?
Shame on you!
As someone who knew (one of the heroes of Flight 93) I can honestly say this was a person (an American) to be proud of. and others like and all deserve the same respect and consideration by our government as given the other heroes of Sept 11.
