Equality for one & all
To whom it may concern:
For 13 years I had the advantage of numerous benefits because of my male partner. For the past ten years I have been denied any benefits whatsoever because my current partner happens to be a woman.
A partner is someone who loves you and wants to spend their life with you. It should not make a difference whether , Father or spouse was a male or a female.
If our appreciation of all of these heroes goes so far as to ignore those breaking federal law and goes so far as to allow companies to go unpunished for hiring illegal aliens then what about some appreciation of the partners of our brave gay heroes.
Benefits for all should be for all. So simple.
Just something to think about.
