Trade Center Pay-off Fiasco
I am appalled that gay and lesbian people are being discriminated against
as to recompense resulting from the Trade Center disaster. I am also at odds
with not expelling illegal aliens and punishing their employers. But
I am most angry at the policy of paying off people who were not in the
service of their country at all. The families who deserve payment are those
of our servicemen and women who will lose their health care and food stamps
if their loved ones die or are maimed in the line of duty!
P.S.: People injured by the Trade Center bombing should be allowed to sue
the airlines for lax security. If they go bankrupt, someone else will buy
the planes and hopefully do a better job.
