compensation of gay partners
In all fairness those who can document a committed homosexual
relationship, functionly the equivalent of a civil arrangment found in
Vermont law, should be compensated no less nor differently than those
with the right to establish marital bonds. It may be traditional to
find legal relationship based strictly on state law, such as the federal
administration of the Social Security laws, but the victims of the 9/11
events should have their arrangements expansively not restrictively
adjudicated.
