compensation of gay partners

In all fairness those who can document a committed homosexual relationship, functionly the equivalent of a civil arrangment found in Vermont law, should be compensated no less nor differently than those with the right to establish marital bonds. It may be traditional to find legal relationship based strictly on state law, such as the federal administration of the Social Security laws, but the victims of the 9/11 events should have their arrangements expansively not restrictively adjudicated.
