If our government believes that it is their duty to compensate the families of 9-11, they need to put aside personal prejudices and be fair. I, as a taxpayer, have had no say as to whether I want to compensate "victims", and I can accept that. However I cannot and will not accept without comment the gross unfairness with which the funds are being distributed. If illegal aliens can be rewarded for being in our country by being given hundreds of thousands of dollars, if unborn fetuses are being used in figuring the amount a family gets, then I find it unbelievable that gays and lesbians are being discriminated against by being denied compensation. This administration has gone way overboard to foist their beliefs on Americans by using and abusing their powers and by declaring any dissenters unpatriotic. Please reconsider your rigid stance in this matter, and do what is right for all Americans.
