Discrimination by the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund
What gives? The Fund will compensate illegal aliens & illegal alien families
of victims, but not the illegal families of American gay men and lesbians who
were victims?
It is such a sad comment that our government must continue to deny mine and
those of millions of my brothers & sisters existence and to continue to tell
us that we are less than the rest of our fellow Americans and even illegal
non-Americans. These actions of this fund do a disservice to all those who
died for their country on September 11. And in particular, the Fund with
this policy impugns the heroic efforts of &
and the other gay men & women who lost their lives helping others.
This is such a heartless hurtful policy. I hope you can find it in your
heart to change this policy and look beyond the law at the facts & spirit as
has been done with illegal aliens.
