Discrimination against gay and lesbian families is unAmerican

Attachment 1:
Why is the Sept. 11 victim compensation fund not giving funds to the families and partners of gays and lesbians who were killed on Sept. 11th? This is a grave misjustice on the governments part. Does the U.S. government believe that these victims are not truly American and so deserve to be treated as second class citizens? I hope not. Shame on the U.S. government for not recognizing these heroes as equal to any other hero who died on Sept. 11th. Shame on the US government for discriminating in this disgusting manner. Families are families whether they are homosexual or heterosexual. All families feel the same pain when a family member is lost. The partners of gay victims should be compensated exactly the same as the partners of heterosexual victims. Stop the discrimination. Please make me proud of the U. S. government again.
