Public comment on Sept 11th fund
I've recently learned that the victims fund for September 11th that you are
creating would exclude benefits to gay couples.
Do you not think that gay couples were effected just as much as anyone else?
That they don't grieve just as much or feel the same pain?
This exclusion only makes the pain that more unbearable. You've been
thoughtful enough to make the eligibility list comprehensive, but leaving
homosexuals off is outrageous.
As you draw a the "final fund" together, please make sure you grant gay
couples the same rights and access as anyone else.
