To Whom It May Concern:
It seems to me that blatantly discriminating against citizens of the United States based on sexual identity is against the law is it not? Or at least against the American way of having freedom to live. If you decide that the partners of the 9/11 heroes do not deserve compensation for their loved ones simply because they are Gay, and their union is not recognized by some prejudice, homophobic state legislature- what kind of American message are you sending? "America does not like gays"- well, here is a newsflash for you- a large percent of America is Gay and Proud. Pay Attention. Please rethink your policies and give these people what they deserve.
