Benefits for gay spouses
Dear September 11 Victim Compensation Fund,
I was shocked to learn that gay and lesbian partners of those who died on
September 11 are not automatically going to receive the same benefits as
heterosexual spouses. Discrimination of this kind is un-American.
Love makes a family. Nothing more. Nothing less. Don't let the deaths of , and so many more be in vain.
Thanks so much for your consideration to change your policy to be fair to all
Americans. It is not too late.
