Victims Compensation

To whom this may concern:
I am outraged and hurt by your decision to try to exclude the rights and compensation of the many gay and lesbian heroes that have died for our country on 9/11. We have contributed greatly to the cause and as an american l am furious that people would go to such an extent to try to discredit those who have fearlessly given their lives for a cause that had nothing to do with them.
I sincerely hope you rethink your stance on excluding funds for those gay and lesbians who need it just as much as their heterosexual peers do. Hurt is hurt and pain is pain, who are you to tell anybody who should and should not receive compensation for their efforts, heroism and loss on 9/11.
As someone who has contributed money to the 9/11 fund and as someone who knows a great many people I urge you to allow gays and lesbians affected to receive their due as well. If however money was not directed to ALL of the people who are not only eligible to receive it but should receive it, I, along with many of my colleagues and friends will cease contributing to your causes.
I pray that you will understand that whether gay, lesbian, straight or bi-sexual, what people do in the privacy in their bedrooms should have no bearing on the content of their character or in any way diminish their great deeds.
Cordially,
