A decision worthy of the Taliban

Mr. Feinberg:

Regarding the article below and your plans regarding gays...

I have read analyses suggesting that Osama Bin Laden is Medieval in his view of humanity.

One could reasonably attach that same description to the Taliban for their nutty, centuries-backward beliefs about women.

And now you. It would appear that this horrifying indifference to the suffering of someone different from oneself is a communicable disease.

Judging by your name, perhaps you're Jewish. While that doesn't change the lessons, it would make your views seem just a bit more twisted. A reminder-- "First They Came for the Jews

"First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me."

--Pastor Martin Niemöller

Christ said, "What you do for the least of my brethren, you do also for me."

The Golden Rule says, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

I am not gay.

I am not a Jew.

I am not, by practice, a Christian any more.

But I have friends, mentors, and for that matter, former girlfriends, who are all of the above.
