Compensate Gay Partners

As an American, I am disgusted by the exclusion of compensation for the partners of gays and lesbians killed in the 09/11 terrorist attack. Had I known that this was the policy of the victim's fund, I never would have donated.

You should carefully evaluate who gets the compensation. As part of this evaluation, you should allow partners of gays and lesbians killed to be candidates to be considered. How much effort would this really take? Establish criteria (i.e. living together, testimonials, etc.) and make a fair decision.

Your current policy is a disgrace to America. How dare you suggest that some partners of those killed are more entitled than others. If the laws of this country allowed gays and lesbians to marry, they would be covered. Eventually, this will be the case and when it is, the Victim's fund will be remembered as bigoted and unfairly discriminatory. THANKS FOR MAKING A HORRIBLE SITUATION EVEN WORSE!

Sincerely,
