I am completely an utterly disgusted with the controversy and the even
remote idea that victims, albeit a wide variety of defining same, may be
discarded from the 911 funds. Gays, Lesbians and other who have suffered
due to the attacks on the United States on that day, all fall under the
umbrella of God's children and the civil and moral obligation the fund
offers. , the of the doomed flight, and the
gay fire dept. chaplain are only the visible ones who lost their lives. I
will argue there are others who were gay/bi/lesbian who's families and loved
ones also lost someone cherished on that day. If you wish to distribute
funds, remember the elder police detective commenting on a forlorn young
female corpse, known to have been a call girl and a drug/needle user, "she
was someone's baby girl and daughter." A quiet prayer of love for all those
who have suffered, both in Afghanistan, the United States and around the
world, to remember that evil and hate has no boundaries and has no place in
a democratic and caring and civil world and societies.
