Sept 11/Victim Compensation Fund

Dear Mr. Zwick:

I am outraged to hear that lesbians and gay men are not being compensated from the Victim Compensation Fund. This is un-American. How much more is this country going to discriminate? I am certain you can find a way to determine through questionnaires how to find out who had lesbian and gay partners. You do realize it's not easy to be 'out' in America?

Those that are willing to answer yes to a questionnaire about having a partner are probably being truthful.

Yes, there will be those that take advantage of the system, but to completely ignore a whole sector of the community for this purpose is preposterous!

Please give this issue some thought! Do you think             gave his lifetime of service as well as his life, so that he could be treated this way??

Discrimination is un-American. you can do better than this!

Please find a way to compensate these people. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely
