9-11 fund
I certainly hope you come to your senses and publicly declare that everyone
who deserves compensation from this federal fund will get it, whether they
are gay or heterosexual. Your spineless attempt to pretend that state law
somehow ties up your hands in this case is not fooling anyone.
I certainly hope everyone in the Pentagon speaks out loud and clear against
your "decision" not to compensate gay and lesbian partners of those who
died, since it was a gay man who saved their lives. If not, all of you
should be run out of office and out of your jobs--and those in the Pentagon
should not be running our military if they're afraid to speak up.
Speak out for what's right. Stop discriminating because of your own
personal prejudices.
Grow up.
