It is un-American to exclude assistance to survivors of the
9-11 attack on America
You have bent over backwords to help the victims: families of illegal
aliens, businesses employing those same illegal aliens, fathers of fetuses
of women killed, fetuses which do not have rights under federal law. But
you refuse to help the partners of the gay and lesbian people who were
victims of this attack? How can you justify this atrocity? This is like
saying, "sorry you lost half of yourself in this tragic accident, but we're
not going to treat you like a whole citizen."
Shame on you! These people are victims just like anyone else. Many of the
fallen were heros, like
-
who helped bring down the flight in Pennsylvania, NY,
preventing the loss of who knows how many more lives
- Fire Dept.
who died in the line of duty when
the first tower fell -- a FIREFIGHTER!
-
who was
of the plane that crashed into the
and many many more. Look to your heart, look to your conscience. Don't the
families of these heros deserve the same respect as the rest of the victims?
