Please treat all the victims' families fairly

Dear Sir:
I'm not the most eloquent person who will write to you today, please bear
with me.
I'm writing to express my extreme sadness and horror that the September 11
Victim Compensation Fund will not be compensating the partners of gay and
lesbian people lost on September 11th in the same manner as spouses of
heterosexual victims. I urge you to do whatever you can to see that these
families are acknowledged with the respect and support we owe each one of
them.
Certainly we do not want to further these people's anguish by denying them
the benefits of their heterosexual counterparts.
We are ALL Americans. And as an American I want to be proud that our country
does not discriminate within it's own Federal Programs.
Do us proud - do the right thing - get benefits for these
partners/families/loved ones.
Respectfully yours,
