9/11 fund

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to you to plead that you leave bigotry behind and do the right thing for all Americans and compensate the gay Americans who lost loved ones on September 11. The failure to do the right thing would only point out how little was learned from that tragic date. If in the wake of such a disaster our government can still go ahead and discriminate against their citizens, even putting illegal aliens above American homosexuals then it is a truly sad day for America and the world. The loss of any life is tragic and those who died left behind partners, parents, brothers and sisters and dear friends. Are you willing to state that the loss and hurt that these people are coping with everyday is less then for those who were killed and were straight, Shame on you for even thinking that and who gave you the license to play GOD! To think that you would discriminate at this time saddens me greatly and makes it impossible to be a proud American. I hope you will look into this matter realizing the grave consequences it has and do the right thing. For God's sake did we learn nothing from 9/11?

Deeply saddened,
