The tragedy continues

To whom it may concern:

I am not only outraged but ultimately disappinted in the inabilty for congress and America to find the compassion to award homosexual partners the same benfits as all other minorities or special circumstances following the September 11 tragedy.

If the event was supposedly an erasure of all factions within America, then why start making division yet again. Have we learned nothing? This is not an issue or morality or legality, for the governemnt has already included illegal aliens and unborn fetuses in an attempt to bridge gaps in society and bind us together. So why exclude hmosexulas, who are neither illegal or unborn. WE exist, and our love for our life partners is no less deserving of recognition.

Please reconsider the statement you are making by excluding us. Please take into account the statement it makes about America and whether or not we can learn from past mistakes or simply remain obstinate and thus worse off than before.

This is not a time for hate or discrimination.
