Gay partners of gay victims
It is a shame that gay partners will not necessarily be receiving
compensation. This is a sign that gay people are not equal to non-gay
people in our country despite being for the most law-abiding, taxpaying
citizens who contribute much to the good of society. I find this disgusting
because it is blind prejudice and there is no excuse for it. It makes me
very angry that the funds be mismanaged in this cruel and unconscionable way
and I will never rest till our gay friends and neighbors and family members
are treated with equal respect instead of as second class citizens.
