my comments about the 9/11 funds discrimination against gays
I am very shocked and appauled at the blatant discrimination that the 9/11
fund has against gays and lesbians. We are all americans in this country
and it is not right to make different groups in society more equal than
others. It doesn't take a genius to see how gays are rated as second-class
citizens when it comes to receiving relief from the 9/11 fund. In my
opinion, this discrimination defiles the courageous efforts of the gay
americans who acted as heros during the Sept. 11 tragedy. America can never
truely be the land of the free if we continue to let our very own
government legalize any type of discrimination and bigotry in our country.
The relief fund needs to be changed to recongnize the families of the gay
americans who died during 9/11.
