9/11 Fund Exclusion of Gays
I am outraged that partners of lesbian and gays are to be excluded from the
September 11 Victim Compensation Fund. The government should treat all
Americans equally, this includes homosexuals. In memory of the heroic gays
involved in 9/11 like " who helped bring down the flight in
Pennsylvania, who died in the line
of duty when the first tower fell, and who was of
the plane that crashed into the ." I'm sure there were many other
acts of heroism performed by gays that day which have not yet come to light.
If America truly stands for freedom, you must reverse this decision and
include homosexuals in the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund.
