Sept. 11th Heroes!
I am writing to let you know that I feel a hero is a hero no matter what his
or her sexual preference may be! Surely this cannot be true that you are not
going to give the same benefits to the partners of those victims killed on
September 11th just because they happen to be gay or lesbian! I think the
time has come to stop living in the dark ages! A hero is a hero and a
grieving spouse is just that, a grieving spouse, no matter if the "powers to
be" approve or not. I think this would be discrimination and should be
examined more closely.
