Please reconsider the benefits for partners and family of Gay Lesbian
Transgender (GLBT) Americans who died as a result of the atrocities
committed on 9-11-01. I believe they should be able to provide some
kind of proof, judged on a case by case basis, that they were in a
committed relationship with, the parent/co-parent of, or child of one
of the victims, but should not be unilaterally disqualified because they
are the family of a GLBT victim. As US citizens, they should not be
discriminated against because of their loved ones, sexual preferance.
They should qualify for whatever benefits are available to other family
of victims.
