It is an outrage that gay and lesbian partners of those who died on September
11 are not automatically going to receive the same benefits as heterosexual
spouses.
Was their service any less important? Neither is the love they shared with
their partners, nor the grief and loss that those persons are experiencing.
This is a time for inclusion and goodness, not bigotry and the disgusting
face of prejudice to show.
For the sake of the victim's, their families, their loved one's... and for
GOD'S sake... do the RIGHT THING.
