Benefits to Illegal Aliens
I recently heard on the news that the victim?s compensation fund is
attempting to decide on how to distribute donations and federal funds to
Illegal aliens who were killed from Sept 11 through terrorists? actions.
As an American, I am against the idea that individuals who reside here
against federal law would even be considered eligible to receive death or
any federal assistance including donations from the September 11th fund.
Individuals knew the risks they were taking when they remained in the United
States. They knew they were here illegally and that they were taking risks.
Being killed in an accident of terrorism is completely horrific, but isn't
an excuse. The donations from generous Americans and from the American
Government should go to Americans. Those aliens who remain in the US and
are killed accidentally are not the responsibility of the American
Government.
