I have a complaint about the september 11th Victim compensation fund of
2001. I am sorry to say that this ruling is extremely unfair to the
american tax payer!!!! Yes their family members died tragically, but people
die tragically everyday from being in the wrong place at the wrong time!
Should we pay drunk drivers victims money so they can go on with their
lives? I am sorry that 9/11 happen but it was out of our control so why
should the american tax payer be punished for this act. My family has lost
our jobs and unemployed! We can barely afford to pay our house payment, but
its okay that victims become instant millionaires?? I just love how the
government just throws the tax payers money around like its nothing. We work
long and hard for the money we earn only to have 50% taken away from us for
taxes...and for what? So others can get paid off for the rest of their
lives...My husband might die in a tragic accident someday, and do you think
someone will pay me so I can live comfortably for the rest of my life...NO i
don't think so. That's life! Those men Knew there were certain risk with
becoming a firefighter or a police officer. Why should tax payers pay for
terrorist acts.
