Dear Mr. Feinberg:
As the surviving spouse of an innocent WTC victim, I
feel cheated and victimized all over again. While no
amount of money can bring back our loved ones or
diminish our daily anguish, the proposed fund is an
insult not only to us but also to the memory of those
who perished on 9/11.
It is abundantly clear that this fund has been
established solely with one purpose in mind and that
is to eliminated the vast majority of the 9/11
families from being able to collect much of anything
from this fund.
Congratulations, you have presented us with a classic
Catch-22 proposal.
I wonder where the remaining $15 billion bail-out for
the airlines is being diverted to?
A modification of this fund is in order.
