Victims Compensation Fund
After seeing several family members of the victims of 9/11 and their lawyers on Fox News I am further convinced that this fund is a mistake. I am appalled that apparently this fund was established and funded with tax dollars. Of all the tragic deaths that occur every day why was this group of people chosen to receive tax payer "welfare". My dad died tragically when I was thirteen and my mother got a job. We weren't aware that the government "owed" us a million or so tax dollars. Is it to late to apply?
As to the Airlines going broke. This is the chance we take as shareholders. Will we use tax payer dollars to pay off the shareholders of Enron?
This is a terrible inequity to the taxpayers.
