Sept 11th victims fund
Mr. Feinberg,
I stumbled upon a copy of the December 20th transcript taken from the forum held at the DOJ conference center, and I will quote you as follows.
"The regulations have three primary objectives in mind. These objectives constantly influence our work. One, fairness and consistency, designed to alleviate victim, family, and -- victim-family need. Fairness and consistency in the treatment of individual claims".
Mr. Feinberg, do you see any fairness in the claim of a family whose daughter was killed in the 911 terrorist strike, who was 38 years old and earned 50,000 dollars a year, ( approx. $600,000 dollar economic and non-economic award) and who was wise enough to invest in life insurance for a total of 600,000 dollars?
Mr. Feinberg, do you see what I see after the collateral deductions?
