Fw: I just saw Rudy Guiliani with a "nation of laws" speech
Yes, we are a nation of laws. In fact, we have so many, they can be
enforced selectively -- like the drug laws where users are imprisoned,
but
dealers seldom are.
And, of course, with September 11th in New York, the law does not
recognize
gay partners, so, being a "nation of laws", we're not bigoted when we
don't
recognize and compensate for lost domestic partners. We're just
following
the law.
But above every law is at least one Constitution, and, therefore, such
bigotry should not to continue to exist.
