Dear Mr. Feinberg,
The amount that you assigned for pain and suffering is woefully low. It is
causing more pain and suffering. Please understand that my 14 year old son
watched the WTC burn while he was in school on 9/11. He knew that his Dad
was in the burning building. My 12 year old daughter was told by a
classmate, while she was in school on 9/11, that the WTC had been struck by
a plane, she was worried sick. I too watched the buildings burn on T.V. and
watched as my husband took his last breath. This is not like any other
situation in history. Please show your sensitivity to this matter and raise
the amounts for pain and suffering for all victims across the board. Raising
the award for pain and suffering would go a long way in helping to show the
families that America understands what occurred on 9/11 and how much of a
scar these events have left on all of us.
Thank you,
