Comments on regullations

The regulations as proposed are unfair, anti-capitalistic, and intentionally penalize thrift and savings. Nowhere did Congress place a cap on the amount to be paid, nor did it authorize the special master to do so. Proportionately high income earners, after deducting their life insurance benefits, will receive the equivalent of less than three years lost wages, in toto. This includes the pain and suffering component, loss of life's enjoyment, and all other items of damages. How can the United States provide subsidies for farmers in excess of six billion dollars a year as payments for not growing certain types of crops, when it will deny 2,900 families the replacement income their decedent would have earned by the sweat of his/her brow. This is hardly the time to turn cheap. These people honorably gave their lives to this country and its freedoms. See you in court, because that is the only remedy you have allowed for.
