COMPENSATION
I live in Manahattan, work downtown & witnessed in the 11th
I agree the time allowed for having reported for medical attention should be extended.
However I am adamently against increasing the total amount per individual.
Yes, any insurance or charity should be deducted from the total you would allow the individual.
Past "victims" , e.g. Oklahoma were not " compensated" for their grevious losses.
The WTC victim's survivors should count themselves fortunate to get any compensation.
"Society" does not owe them anything and some of them are simply greedy.
Stand fast.
