Missing my father
Dear Mr. Feinberg:
On 9/11, my father      was tragically
killed while he was at work in the WTC.
He worked in the private sector as did the majority of
the people who worked in the Twin Towers.
The DOJ, however, elected to use outdated and obsolete
military and civil service data and has applied it to
the private sector.
We have become painfully aware that the interim rules
of the plan are fraught with many deficiencies which
need to be amended. The most egregious of which are:
1) underestimating the earnings of civilians in the
private sector (2) using inappropriate data that
underestimate earnings growth in the private sector
(3) not allowing for recovery for lost household
services (4) penalizing families who exercised good
financial planning and (5) signing away our rights.
A full review and revision based on up-to-date data
would be greatly appreciated by the undersigned.
Sincerely,
Individual Comment
