Victim Compensation

My heart and prayers go out to the victims of the September 11th attacks. Their hardship and trials are great.

However, I take issue with the government giving them money to compensate for their loss. How can you pay for the loss of a loved one?

Also, where does it stop? What about the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing? What about the victims of a Texas tornado? What about the victims of today's car crashes? Those people are dead too. Those people left grieving families behind. How can the government say one loss is more important than another. Why does one victim receive $1 million and another receive $0.

Therefore I am against any governmental compensation for the victims of the September 11th attacks.

Sincerely,
